to the Faith Carlin, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., OB/GYN Medical Practice Web Site.
Dr. Faith Carlin graduated first in her
class from the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine, and
after seventeen years of successful California practice, brings that same level of dedication and pursuit of excellence to the
care she provides for her patients on the Big Island of Hawaii. Click

"My staff and I strive to provide the highest quality of medical care possible,
in a compassionate and friendly environment, always remembering that you,
the patient, have choices. One of my commitments to you as my
patient is to remain current with the many new medical advances occurring
almost daily. I believe it is my duty to provide you with whatever information
you seek to assist you in making wise choices regarding your health issues.
I also believe in the value of
personalized service for each patient. As a result, I choose to see all
patients personally, rather than rely solely upon the assistance of a nurse or other
para-professional.
Also, since commencing private practice
in 1988, I have attended 98% of
my patients' OB deliveries! On the rare occasions when I am not available, another
OB-GYN physician is always on call.
A complimentary brief consultation
is available to all prospective new patients who so desire. Please call
the office during our regular business hours to arrange for an appointment.

Regular Business Hours: Monday through Friday,
9 AM-12 PM and 2-5 PM.

We will be happy to assist you with
scheduling appointments and refilling prescriptions during these hours.
You can also speak with Dr. Carlin during these hours on Monday through
Thursday, or leave a message for her; she will return your call as promptly
as possible.
Please provide us with at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel
or change an appointment. This will let us provide better service for
you and other patients. Also, kindly provide a minimum of 24 hours
notice before your medication runs out if you will be needing a refill.
Coverage is available for emergencies
and patients in labor, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To page Dr.
Carlin, call the office number, 329-3344, and follow the instructions.
Business Office: Our billing
and accounting is not handled at the medical office. Questions related
to these issues are best handled by calling Dr. Carlin's billing service
directly at
800-521-9157,
ext 241.
Alita-Ray
is the billing representative for Dr. Carlin's patients. Alita-Ray should have an answer for you in
a timely fashion; if not, please call the medical office. If there is
a problem with your billing, please bring it to our attention in order
that we may assist you.
